Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 2.313:
प्रक्षालनं शरावाणां स्थालीना� मार्जन� तथ� �
अनुक्तमप� रूपे� भुज्यङ्गत्वात् प्रतीयत� � ३१� �prakṣālana� śarāvāṇāṃ sthālīnā� mārjana� tathā |
anuktamapi rūpeṇa bhujyaṅgatvāt pratīyate || 313 ||313. (When an order for feeding somebody is given) the washing of the dishes and plates, though not actually mentioned, is also understood because it is part of the action of feeding.
Commentary
[The point made here, is that what is invariably concomitant with the chief meaning is also conveyed even though no word expressive of it is used.]
