Commentary
Therefore, direct perception and extra-sensory cognition (of the sages) set aside reasoning even when there is contradiction between the two.
Notes
1. This verse is found in the 艢l. V膩r. (verse 3, p. 209. (Chowkhambha edition). It is there given as that of P膩r膩艣arya, i.e., 痴测腻蝉补. Jayanta 叠丑补峁弓补, in his Ny膩yama帽jar墨, also gives it as a quotation from 痴测腻蝉补. Here, however, it is not given as a quotation, but as an integral part of the 痴腻办测补辫补诲墨测补 itself.
