भृत्ययोर� नायकस्ये� निसर्ग-द्वेषिणोर् अप� �
अङ्गयोर् अङ्गिन� पुष्ट्यै भवेद� एकत्� सङ्गति� ॥४.�.७८�ki� ca �
bhṛtyayor nāyakasyeva nisarga-dveṣiṇor api |
ṅgyor aṅgina� puṣṭyai bhaved ekatra sṅgti� ||4.8.78||
English translation
“However, just as there is a conjoining of two natural enemies for service to a common master, their king, there is no fault in mixing two conflicting ṅg-rasas for nourishing the ṅgī-rasa.�
