पित्र्यं वा भजते शीलं मातुर्वोभयमे� वा �
� कथ� चन दुर्योनि� प्रकृतिं स्वा� नियच्छति � ५९ �pitrya� vā bhajate śīla� māturvobhayameva vā |
na katha� cana duryoni� prakṛti� svā� niyacchati || 59 ||The base-born man bears the character or his father, or of his mother, or of both; he can never conceal his origin.�(59)

�Base-born’—of mixed origin.
