गो-विप्�-सु�-साधूना�

tasmād dāna� tu kartavya�
vighnānā� ś-hetave
--ܰ-ū�

छन्दसं पूजन� तथ�

chandasa� pūjana� tathā

ٲ�therefore; Բcharity; ٳ�certainly; 첹ٲⲹ�should be given; 峾�of obstacles; śdestruction; ٲ�for the cause; ḥ�tp the cows; vipra󳾲ṇa; surademigods; ū峾�and saintly devotees; 󲹲Ի岹�Vedic mantras; ūᲹԲ�worship; ٲٳ�so.

English translation of verse 1.17.12:

Therefore, to destroy all obstacles you should give charity, chant Vedic prayers, and worship the cows, brāhmaṇas, demigods, and saintly devotees.
