Nillanon (Nilananda): A monkey king of Chompha. His complexion was similar to the feet of Hamsa, swan. He was the son of Phra Akhani (Agni). He assisted Hanuman and Sukhrip in destroying Umong (Tunnel) ceremony of Thotsakan. Once he transformed himself into an elephant and Hanuman transformed himself into Thotsakan. Hanuman was riding this elephant when he went to Longka destroy the Namthip ceremony of Montho. He served as the messenger in the battle between Phra Phrot and King Cakkravat. The battle won, he became the Viceroy of the city of Chompha.

The Ramakien does not necessarily follow the Valmiki Ramayana in the delineation of the episodes
