Accordingly:鈥斺�湷站贬梗峁嚦馨迓岵�, rich in glory, powerful from strength of arm, mighty as Vi峁ａ箛u, was king there (i.e., in Si峁僪apura). In him the virtue called 鈥榮ubduing-the-senses鈥� bore a brilliant heap of virtues, like a seed in the ground bearing a heap of grain. The 艢r墨s (Glories) and the Bh墨s (Fears), respectively delighted with him submissive and angry with him hostile, were reduced to the state of 蝉惫补测补峁僾补谤补-wreaths at the sight of him. [...] Vi峁ａ箛u was the wife of the king, like 艢ac墨 of Ji峁ａ箛u (Indra), radiant with beauty, like another earth in stability. [...]鈥�.
