Vikaura, which is probably the same as Vikrau峁嚹� of the Garr膩岣� plates of Trailokyavarman,4 is Beekore of the maps, situated in N.L. 24 虋 13鈥� and E. L. 78 虋 41鈥� S膩gar District. It is about 6 kms. south-west of Madanapur (Madanapura).
These plates (mentioning Vikaura) were found at Semr膩: a town in the Chatarpur District of the Bundelkhand region (formerly the state of Bij膩war) of Madhya Pradesh. They were issued by Paramardideva to record the confirmation of a grant, from his camp at Sonasara, for the sake of the increase of his own and his parent鈥檚 merit and fame.
