: Shodhganga: a concise history of Sanskrit Chanda literature (history)Upendrācārya (उपेन्द्राचार्य) is a younger brother of ٳīś峦ⲹ (1851-1919 C.E.): a poet of modern Assam who composed Vṛttamañjarī. ٳīś峦ⲹ was the son of Keśavācārya. His maternal grandfather was Bhavadeva, resident of Nāgārakucha and belonged to ղṣṭdzٰ. ٳīś峦ⲹ is also the elder brother of Rudreśvarācārya and Upendrācārya and father of Bhāratī, Sarasvatī and Sarveśvara.
