: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramTritrika (啶む啶班た啶む啶班た啶�) refers to 鈥渢hree triads鈥�, according to the Manth膩nabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjik膩.鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淭he Transmission (krama) is said to be of three kinds鈥攇ross, subtle and supreme. (It is) the Triple Thorn (consisting of the modalities of) the Individual Soul (腻峁嘺惫补), Energy (艣腻办迟补) and 艢iva (艣腻尘产丑补惫补) as the third. (These correspond respectively to) the Supreme (para), Middling (辫补谤腻辫补谤补) and Inferior (apara) (levels). (The wise) know that the one Transmission of Lineages, divided (thus) into three triads (tritrika), is threefold鈥�.
Shakta (啶多ぞ啶曕啶�, 艣腻办迟补) or Shaktism (艣膩ktism) represents a tradition of Hinduism where the Goddess (Devi) is revered and worshipped. Shakta literature includes a range of scriptures, including various Agamas and Tantras, although its roots may be traced back to the Vedas.
