: What is India: Inscriptions of the ŚilāhārasStāmāna (स्तामा�) refers to a village, the hill of which, named Sīsavī, lies on the northern boundary of ղḍaṅgܱ: a village mentioned in the Paṭṭaṇakuḍi plates of Avasara II. The village ղḍaṅgܱ was granted by Raṭṭarāja to his learned preceptor Ātreya, who was a disciple of the Śaiva ascetic Ambhojaśambhu of the Karkaroṇ� branch of the Mattamayūra clan.
