Shaktism (Shakta philosophy)
: Google Books: Manthanabhairavatantramdzūⲹ (वामावर्त�) refers to the “sun and moon�, according to the Manthānabhairavatantra.—Accordingly, �(The goddess) is the emanation (ṛṣپ) of all the elements (ūٲ). She creates the universe. [...] By rotating clockwise (ū屹ٲ) she is the Full (Moon) and, (rotating) anticlockwise (峾屹), the New Moon. Transcending (both) Sun and Moon [i.e., dzūⲹ-貹ٳī], she is called Śāmbhavī (Śiva's power). That power (when) Full (pūrṇ�) bestows worldly enjoyment; (as the) New Moon, accomplishment and liberation. And, (that power) which give worldly enjoyment and liberation, established in the non-sequential (akrama) (transcendent), withdraws (all things)�
