: What is India: Inscriptions of the 艢il膩h膩ras艢r墨patibha峁弓a is the name of a Br膩hma峁嘺 residing in Brahmapur墨 according to the 鈥淧rince of wales museum plates of Mummu峁噄r膩ja鈥�. Accordingly, 鈥溑歳墨patibha峁弓a, the son of Dugaiy膩 Up膩san墨 who is of the 膧treya-gotra and Bahv峁沜a-艣膩kh膩鈥�.
These copper plates (mentioing 艢r墨patibha峁弓a) were handed over to the Curator (Archaeological Section, Prince of Wales Museum, Bombay) by one Hasan Razak. Its object is to record the grant, by Mammu峁噄r膩ja, of the village Ki-icchit膩 (Mandaraja-vi峁ya) to twelve Br膩hma峁嘺s residing in the agrah膩ra of Brahmapur墨. The grant was made on the occasion of a lunar eclipse which occurred on the fifteenth tithi of the bright fortnight of Bh膩drapada in the 艢aka year 971, the cyclic year being Virodhin.
