: What is India: Inscriptions of the 艢il膩h膩rasR膩njal墨 is the name of a village mentioned in the 鈥淩膩njal墨 stone inscription of Harip膩ladeva鈥�. R膩njal墨 lies about four miles (6.44 km.) to the south-east of Sop膩r膩 (艢奴rp膩raka).
This stone inscription (mentioning R膩njal墨) was discovered several years ago in a field near the N膩l膩-Sop膩r膩 station of the Western Railway. It records the donation, by a royal charter, of an orchard in the village R膩njal墨 situated to the west of the seashore. It is dated earlier in the 艢aka year 1059, the cyclic year being Pi峁単ala.
