: Google Books: Studies in the History of the Exact Sciences (Astronomy)笔谤补辫奴谤测补 (啶啶班お啷傕ぐ啷嵿く) means 鈥渢o fill鈥�, according to 艢r墨pati鈥檚 Siddh膩nta艣ekhara verse 19.19-20.鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淎 vessel, resembling half a pot in shape (i.e. hemispherical), made of ten palas of copper, six 补峁単耻濒补蝉 in height and twice the same in the diameter of the mouth, which can be filled [i.e., 辫谤补辫奴谤测补] with sixty palas of water, is the 骋丑补峁�-测补苍迟谤补. It should be pierced beforehand by a four 补峁単耻濒补蝉 long gold needle that has been made of three and one-third 尘腻峁蝉 [of gold]. Then it fills with water [and sinks] in one 驳丑补峁璱办腻 (=苍腻岣峣办腻)鈥�.

Then sugarcane juice should be profusely sprinkled and the trees should be smoked with honey and 办耻峁嘺辫补鈥�.
