: What is India: Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy (1945-1952)Nesargi is an archaeologically important site situated in Sampgaon-taluk (Belgaum district, Bombay), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Nesargi there is a slab built as support in the temple called Jo岣�-gu岣峣 outside the village which records gifts to the temple of Habbe艣vara. M膩峁噄ke艣vara and Siddhe艣vara, erected by B膩cheya-n膩yaka and his wife M膩yidev墨 at Nesarige.
This inscription belongs to king K膩rtav墨rya IV of the Ra峁弓a dynasty. It is dated 艢aka 1141 (1219 A. D., January 24).
