: Google Books: The Crystal Mirror of Philosophical Systemsmngon rtogs brgyad (མངོན་རྟོགས་བརྒྱད) refers to the �Eight Higher Realizations� (as taught in the “Ornament of Higher Realization� by Maitreya) are known in Tibetan as mngon rtogs brgyad.—Accordingly, in the middle Shijé tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.—The Kam system is the explanation by Kam Yeshé Gyaltsen of all Eight Higher Realizations (mngon rtogs brgyad) according to the instructions of Pha Dampa. He expounded them by quoting from the extensive and medium-length perfection of wisdom Sūtras and from their poetic distillation.

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (Բ) are collected indepently.
