Source: Wisdom Library: Dhanurveda碍谤补耻帽肠腻蝉迟谤补 (啶曕啶班啶炧啶氞ぞ啶膏啶む啶�) refers to a mythical weapon. It is a Sanskrit word defined in the Dhanurveda-sa峁僪it膩, which contains a list of no less than 117 weapons. The Dhanurveda-sa峁僪it膩 is said to have been composed by the sage Vasi峁ａ弓ha, who in turn transmitted it trough a tradition of sages, which can eventually be traced to 艢iva and Brahm膩.
Dhanurveda (啶оえ啷佮ぐ啷嵿さ啷囙う) refers to the 鈥渒nowledge of warfare鈥� and, as an upaveda, is associated with the 峁歡veda. It contains instructions on warfare, archery and ancient Indian martial arts, dating back to the 2nd-3rd millennium BCE.
