General definition (in Hinduism)
Source: Wisdom Library: HinduismKakubha (啶曕啷佮き)鈥擲anskrit word for a plant (Terminalia arjuna).
: archive.org: Vedic index of Names and SubjectsKakubha (啶曕啷佮き) is the older form for the word Kakuha: a word occurring several times in the 峁歡veda, is understood by Roth to designate part of a chariot, perhaps the seat. Ludwig, again, regards it in one passage as the proper name of a Y膩dava prince who took spoil from Tirindira, the Par艣u, but this view is hardly probable. It is, on the whole, most likely that the word always means 鈥榗hief,鈥 鈥榩re-eminent鈥, being applied as an epithet to horses, chariots, princes, etc. ([...] and often in the older form kakubha). This is the only sense given by Grassmann, and later adopted by Roth.

: archive.org: Personal and geographical names in the Gupta inscriptionsKakubha (啶曕啷佮き) or 碍补办耻产丑补驳谤腻尘补 is a place-name classified as a 驳谤腻尘补 and mentioned in the Gupta inscriptions. The Gupta empire (r. 3rd-century CE), founded by 艢r墨 Gupta, covered much of ancient India and embraced the Dharmic religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Jamb奴deva was the name of a village. Kakubha was also known as 碍补办耻产丑补驳谤腻尘补, the suffix 驳谤腻尘补 seems to have been dropped in the present case.
Kakubha is identified with modern Kah膩um or Kahawan, a village about five miles to the west by south of Salampur-Majhauli, the chief town of the Salampur-Majhauli Parga峁嚹 in the Deoria, Deoriy膩 or Dewariy膩 Tehsil or sub-division of the Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh. This place was known as Kakubha. From this inscription, it is known that a person named Madra, who traced his descent from one Somila and who had equal respect for Dvija, Guru and Yati, established the stone pillar of five Adik峁泃ris T墨rtha峁卥aras, (probably 膧din膩tha, 艢膩ntin膩tha, Nemin膩tha, P膩r艣van膩tha and Mah膩v墨ra).

The history of India traces the identification of countries, villages, towns and other regions of India, as well as mythology, zoology, royal dynasties, rulers, tribes, local festivities and traditions and regional languages. Ancient India enjoyed religious freedom and encourages the path of Dharma, a concept common to Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism.
