ⲹṛṣṇa (जयकृष्�).—A famous grammarian of the Mauni family who lived in Varanasi in the seventeenth century. He wrote विभक्त्यर्थनिर्ण�, स्फोटचन्द्रिका (󲹰ٲⲹٳ󲹲Ծṇaⲹ, ṭaԻ), a commentary on the Siddhantakaumudi called सुबोधिनी (ܲǻ󾱲ī) and a commentary on the Madhya Kaumudi named विला� (). He wrote a commentary on the Laghukaumudi also.
