: Sacred Texts: The Grihya Sutras, Part 2 (SBE30)Ҳ峾ⲹԲ (गवामयन) refers to “sacrifices lasting three years�, according to the Ā貹ٲ-ⲹñ-貹ṣ�-ūٰ.—“The Ҳ峾ⲹԲ is the Prakṛti of the Sāṃvatsarikas�. Commentary: The Ҳ峾ⲹԲ lasts three years, and it is the type of all Sāṃvatsarika sacrifices, whether they last one, two, three or more years. They all belong to the class of Sattras.
