Source: Wisdom Library: V膩stu-艣膩straDhanurgraha (啶оえ啷佮ぐ啷嵿啷嵿ぐ啶�) is the Sanskrit name for a unit of measurement, used in V膩stu艣膩stra literature, according to the 惭腻苍补蝉腻谤补 II.40-53. A single Dhanurgraha unit corresponds to 27 A峁単ula units.

The smallest unit, which is 辫补谤补尘腻峁嘘, atom is stated ta be perceived (only) by the sages. For all practical purposes, a峁単ula is the smallest unit of measurement. For this reason, it is seen to be treated in a special way in the text with regards to its universality that significantly downplays its semantic reference to the body.
Vastushastra (啶掂ぞ啶膏啶む啶多ぞ啶膏啶む啶�, v膩stu艣膩stra) refers to the ancient Indian science (shastra) of architecture (vastu), dealing with topics such architecture, sculpture, town-building, fort building and various other constructions. Vastu also deals with the philosophy of the architectural relation with the cosmic universe.

Of these, the first is based on the length of certain natural objects, while the second is obtained from the length of a particular part or limb of the person whose measurement is under consideration. They have been specified by R. N. Mishra, in his text in volume 1 of Kal膩tattvako艣a.
