The Gupta empire (r. 3rd-century CE), founded by 艢r墨 Gupta, covered much of ancient India and embraced the Dharmic religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. 碍辞峁璱惫补谤峁 has been described as a 惫颈峁测补 under Pu峁囜笉ravardhana-bhukti.
