: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchԳٲḥkṇaٲ (अन्तःकरणस्तम्भ) refers to the “pillar of mental faculties�, according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.—Accordingly, as Īśvara says to Vāmadeva: “[...] For one for whom the no-mind [state] is arising and who is established in [the state of complete] detachment, the body becomes both supple and firm. As soon as the no-mind [state arises,] the bondage of lust, anger and [other such snares] is immediately destroyed. When the [rigid] pillar of mental faculties (Գٲḥkṇaٲ) has ceased [to exist], the bodily abode becomes loose [and collapses]. [...]�.
