Note 1: 膧肠腻尘腻尘濒补, or 腻肠腻尘濒补, is dry food, such as rice, pulse, or flour-cake without 驳丑墨 or dressing. 膧肠腻尘腻尘濒补vardham膩na is a series of fasts broken by such meals. The whole penance lasts 14 years, 3 months, and 20 days.
Note 2: 膧肠腻尘腻尘濒补 is the same as 腻肠腻尘濒补.鈥擳he present practice in the Tapagaccha is to take one meal a day of dry food, such as plain cooked rice and flour cakes. Salt, pepper, dry ginger may be used; but no 驳丑墨 nor anything sweet. Water is taken.
