Afflictions of nakedness鈥�苍腻驳苍测补, absence of pleasures鈥�arati, woman鈥�蝉迟谤墨, posture鈥�苍颈峁诲测腻, reproach鈥�腻办谤辞艣补, solicitation鈥�测腻肠补苍腻, and reverence and honour鈥�蝉补迟办腻谤补辫耻谤补蝉办腻谤补, are caused by the conduct-deluding (肠腻谤颈迟谤补尘辞丑补) karmas. (15)

If the first kind of deluding (尘辞丑补苍墨测补) karmas cause one affliction, how many afflictions are caused by the second type?
Delusion (moha) has been said to cause afflictions like nakedness鈥�苍腻驳苍测补, mentioned above. But how can the affliction of posture鈥�苍颈峁诲测腻, be caused by the rise of delusion (moha)? On the rise of delusion (moha), thoughts of violence arise. And avoidance of injury is the object of the posture鈥�苍颈峁诲测腻. That is why the affliction of the posture鈥�苍颈峁诲测腻鈥揾as been said to fall under the conduct-deluding (肠腻谤颈迟谤补尘辞丑补) karmas and not under the feeling (惫别诲补苍墨测补) karmas.
