Sri Govindaraja Perumal Temple
Sri Govindaraja Perumal Temple at Puthirankottai village is 9 miles from Acharapakkam on the Madurantakam -Chunampet road. This e Vishnu temple is at a distance of half a mile from the main road. It was built 100 years beck and covers an area of 50 cents. The gopura is 30 feet high. Daily, one pooja is performed by the Bhattachari. The temple has no jewels or vahanas. It gets an annual income 12.36 acres of wet and dry lands, Sri Rama Navami festival is celebrated annually, when 200 devotees assemble. A trustee is in charge of the temple.[1]
