काहल� - [kāhalā - ] A large drum used for military purposes
तूर्यारावैराहितोत्तालतालैर्गान्यन्तीभि� काहल� काहलाभिः �
नृत्ते चक्षुः शून्यहस्तप्रयोगं काये कूजन� कम्बुरुच्चैर्जहा� ||

Siśupālavadha. XVIII, 54)
The deep beats of the Kāhala drum (appeared like the often-played
beat from Mrdanga and other type of drums), which was played along
with other musical instruments, ridiculed the sound of the conch. The
poet compares it with the person who mocks at a blind man dancing
with hand gesticulations.
डिण्डिमः - [ḍiṇḍima� - ] A small Drum, beaten at the beginning at a battle.
घण्डानादाः - किङ्किणीस्वनाः - [ghaṇḍānādā� - kiṅkiṇīsvanā� - ] gingling of bells.
डिण्डिमाना� - टक्कानां निःस्वना� - [ḍiṇḍimānā� - ṭakkānā� niḥsvanā� - ] sound of a drum called Dakka.
घण्टानाद� निस्वन� डिण्डिमाना� ग्रैवेयाणामारव� बृंहितान� �
आमेती� प्रत्यवोचन� गजानामुत्साहार्थ� वाचामाधोरणस्� ।।

It was observed that the elephants were rejoicing at the gingling of
bells tied on the either side and in the neck as well as sound from the
Dindima drum.
दर्दुर� - [dardura� -] A small drum with cylindrical frame
उद्यत्कृशानुशानुशकलेषु खुराभिधाताद्भूमीसमायतशिलाफलकाचितेष� �
पर्यन्तवर्त्मस� विचक्रमिरे महाश्वाः शैलस्य दर्दुरपुटानि� वादयन्तः ।।

The horses, which were running very fast with their firm steps on
the earth, were as if, making sounds resembling the Dardura drum
echoing from the mountains.
