1.2. Materials (i): Pulaka (Amethyst)
This gem also is believed to have been created from the nails of the demon Bala. Its colour is similar to that of ³Ò³ÜñÂá²¹ seeds, honey, red lotus, fire and a plantain leaf. µþÄåṇa[1] and ³Õ²¹°ùÄå³ó²¹³¾¾±³ó¾±°ù²¹[2] speak of this gem.
