Fear Dispelled

By Sri Raja V. Viswa Sundara Rao Bahadur

Oh, Death! how we fear thee, thy grim approach!

How we tremble frightened at thy icy touch!

But, do we understand right thy mission performed,

Before we fling our reproach on thy head ’larmed,

Perhaps you carry us on thy wing to the land

Whence we came to be thrown on this sad earth banned,

To suffer in bondage made of toils wrought and miseries chosen.

Fie upon our tears and fetters! Let us face, let us not shun

Thee that helps our return to the sweet home forgotten.

Let's grow together!

I humbly request your help to keep doing what I do best: provide the world with unbiased sources, definitions and images. Your donation direclty influences the quality and quantity of knowledge, wisdom and spiritual insight the world is exposed to.
