With the help of these fifty alphabets are the
Rishis established a wonderful relationship between the
conception of self and universe.
Every one practising Sadhana according to the
teachings of the Sastras has to perform Matrika nyasa.
In this, one directs his mind on certain parts of the body
where one letter of the alphabet is inagined. The rules
of this are as mentioned below
1 लल� मु� वृत्तादिति प्राणेषु गण्डयो�
ओदन्तोत्तमागास्यादोः पत� सन्ध्य ग्रकेष� वा �
पार्श्वयोः पृष्ठत� ना� जर� हृदय� हंसक�
कक
पूर्� पाणि युगे तथ�
जट राननयोत्येन्मातृकानि यथाक्रमम�
( [lalā mukha vṛttāditi prāṇeṣu gaṇḍayo�
odantottamāgāsyādo� pat sandhya grakeṣu vā |
pārśvayo� pṛṣṭhato nābha jare hṛdaye haṃsake
kaka
pūrva pāṇi yuge tathā
jaṭa rānanayotyenmātṛkāni yathākramam
