When contemplation reaches a still higher level it turns
to transcendental meditation, casting away the formalities
like Yantra, Mantra, Puja, Mudra, etc. The knowledge of
Yoganadis which have their psychic centres in plexuses called
Cakras, the abode of primal power and the awakening of primal
power, and flash of primal power through plexuses etc. are
necessary for liberation to tantric sadhaka.
The Yoganadis
Nadis, in Tantrasastra, does not mean the nerves
known to physiology, which are considered to be 3 lakhs.
144 The Yoganadis are said to be 72000 in number and with

These Nadis have their origin from 10 Nadis, mainly viz.,
Ida, Pingala, Susumna, Gandhari, Hastijihva, Pusa, Alahbusā,
