The ¸éÄåÂá²¹²õÅ«²â²¹ is the royal ceremony of consecration, which comes under the purview of Soma sacrifice and is a very complex ceremony extending over more than one year. It also consists of soma sacrifices, animal sacrifices and a number of ¾±á¹£á¹¾±²õ. The performer of the ¸éÄåÂá²¹²õÅ«²â²¹ sacrifice attains sovereignty and supremacy over all dominions. It is generally performed by a ḳs²¹³Ù°ù¾±²â²¹ king who has not performed the ³ÕÄåÂá²¹±è±ð²â²¹ sacrifice. This sacrifice was also in vogue in ancient India and in the post Vedic era also.
