8. Rudra and
A reference has been found in the context of the Tryambaka offering of the Śatapatha ṇa, where is said to be Rudra’s sister. A share is offered to Rudra and he (Rudra) is invoked to accept his share along with , Rudra’s sister.[1] In the ղٳپīⲹ ṇa, autumn season is identified with . is Rudra’s īṇ�. Rudra kills the creatures along with .[2] In the ᲹԱ⾱ṃh, Ѳī remarks that kills her enemies by taking the form of autumn and spreading fever etc., diseases.[3] Here, is delineated with Rudra as a ferocious deity. Her dreaded form is reflected very clearly.
