Vaṃśastha, Dṛtavilambita, Upendravajrā, Pṛthvī, Upajāti. The metres and the order of their frequency within the text are noted by B. S. Miller74. 2.2 The Poetic Style of Gg The love and eroticism has been manifested in the Indian literature from the Vedic period. The dialouges of Pururavas with Urvasi and Yama with Yami bear testimony to it. From that time hundreds of poems are composed bearing erotic sentiment as the main thrust of those poems. The poems which are written through the simple, soft rhythmical wordings touches the heart of a reader more than others like the Gg. The dramatic progress of the subject, gentle word formation and the musical speciality has created many followers of Jayadeva. The description of the ten incarnations became most popular medium for the worship of Kṛṣṇa-Viṣṇu75. The poet was a devotee of Kṛṣṇa and hence he has no limited region regarding spiritualism. He felt the glory of God from a world wide and liberal point of view76. In this poem he expressed the physical enjoyment more, than love 7. Jayadeva, the poet of beauty and figure, presented different emotions of man and woman in natural, sweet sooth stringing of words. The lyric at each step of Gg. is remembered frequently by the reciter and the listener. Regarding poetic art, the structure, the sentiment, the luxurious description, the poetic embellishments, the gentle and soft combination of words present the poem as a unique and artistic creation of Jayadeva. From the popularity point of view this poem is still occupied the first position all over India 77 74. Miller, B.S.,Ed. The Gitagovinda of Jayadeva, p.44
