As discussed before both the works related to Vaisnava literature and both have puranic background. There is a difference of six hundred years within both creations. A scholar says that Baladeva approved mostly the theory of the Padmapurana. During the twelfth century the Krsna literature is limited to the learned persons. But by the eighteenth century it has crossed a panel of literary flow and the Krsna literature became popular among all the countrymen. The song, dance, music all are developed regarding this literature and poets of all the languages tried to create their own literary compositions approving the Radha-krsna philosophy. For these activities Krsna literature was enriched in all regional literatures of India. From the ancient era this literature has been serving as a means of devotion and devotional artistic entertainment.
