An important condition to be followed in the pursuit of performance of
worship is the sädhaka should not talk. He should not talk even if it is the
truth 137. It is stated in the SVT138 that the japa which is not done in silence
that japa is taken up by the Rākṣasas; even the mantra is useless and does
not yield any success.
Conducive Conditions for worship.
It is observed that the worship of the goddess for an initiate is a lifelong
process. Apart from this, there are some festive days and occasions when the
worship of the goddess is celebrated on a grand scale. In such occasions,
there is a sort of no 'participation bar' and people from all walks of life
