Worship & worshipper Flower arrangement on goddess Rajarajeśvarī after the worship. 360 The NUT 107 states that the flowers which are covered by cloth or wrapped
with cloth and carried by holding on the head are unfit for worship. Flowers
should be covered and wrapped only by leaves. For the water flowers there
appears a ban with regard to their usage in the worship process. But such a
ban does not stand in case of water lilies, lotuses and the Campaka; similarly
the Tulasi, the Agastya, the Bakula, the Bilva and Gangā water are indeed
pure. Garlands and flowers that are got from the gardener or the garland
maker are pure and are free from the faults of stalement etc...though stale
and water born flowers are banned an exception is the lotus.
In temples of the south, a popular and compulsory carving is the lotus
pedestal. This lotus pedestal is placed at the following places within the
temple precints - The four principal directions which also house the retinue
