earth 84. Go in Sanskrt language is the term used for the cow. In the
Bhp85, it is mentioned that the earth assumes the form of a cow and
,
accompanied the gods to Vaikunta to request the lord to incarnate and
relieve her of the burden of the unrighteous men.

In the Pur膩峁嘺s the earth assumes the form of the cow and

is approachable by the gods and likewise she too approaches the gods
for protection in the form of the cow. In the BhP, It is mentioned that
the earth assumed the form of/cow and was milked by Pythu. After
Prthu she was milked by the Gods, the celestial beings, the terrestrial
beings, the extra terrestrials, the semi divine beings, the manes, the
pitrs, the spirits and even by the daityas and the danavas. They used
different cows and milk pots for milking the cow. The earth too in the
form of the cow fulfilled their wish according to their nature and
