To identify a divinity as 'male' or as 'female' is the
specialty of the world theistic belief system as well as mythologies
and culture systems that are woven around the worship details. And
this is indeed the model of the sex-phenomena for life on this earth.
The relevance of the sex-determination was on the reproductive-
phenomenon that takes place only from a particular section, ie; the
'females alone and hence their unique importance in
contradistinction to the rest of natures_creation deprived of this
miraculous gift.

Round the concept of motherhood a wider symbology of
sex and fertility evolved as recognizing her identity in the creative
manifestations of several natural phenomena, powers and their
functions. The preliminary notions of the femininity in terms of
diverse nature in terms of diverse nature of Mothers behavior were
further analyzed through a psychological evolution such as 'The
Producing Mother', 'The Nourishing Mother', 'The Benevolent
Mother', 'The Punishing Mother', 'The Terrific Mother', 'The Killing
Mother', 'The Ruling Mother', 'The Great Mother' etc.,
Such psychical or functional determinations led to the
evolution of the arche type of mother goddesses who came to be
expressed into the evolved deity images through a series of ideas,
attributes and myths and worship details.
