ղ (Āܰ岹 scholar)
ղ—Aٳdzܲ Āⲹ ղ was a scholar of astrology. Yet he did a little subtle study of Āܰ岹. He described all the sections of ṛkṣҳܰ岹, Hastāyurveda [Ჹٲܰ岹], śܰ岹 etc., in a very meticulous study. King վ徱ٲⲹ of ղ was one of the jewels of the Navaratna . One of his books on astrology is Vṛhatsaṃhitā. It is written in the epilogue chapter of the ṛh-ٲ첹, the abode of ղ was Գī and he was enlightened by Kāpithyaka with the blessings of Lord Sun. ղ gave an example of a verse from Vāgbhaṭṭa. From this, it appears that the advent of ղ is approximately the fifth century after Vāgbhaṭṭa. His expertise in the three branches of astrology is found in mathematical astrology, applied astrology and ṃh[1].
