Some details.
(i) This sage was one among the many sages who came from the north to visit Śrī Rāma on his return to ǻ after the exile. Those who came from the north were�śⲹ貹, ղṣṭ, Atri, վś峾ٰ, Gautama, Jamadagni, 屹Ჹ, Sanakādis, Śarabhaṅga, ٳܰ, Ѳٲṅg, Vibhāṇḍaka and Tumburu. (Uttara 峾ⲹṇa).
(ii) Tumburu was one among the ṛṣis who visited īṣm lying on his bed of arrows. (Chapter 47, ŚԳپ Parva).
