Story of ³§³Ü²úÄå³ó³Ü
General.
A King of °Äåśī. ³§³Ü²úÄå³ó³Ü had a very beautiful daughter called Åš²¹Å›¾±°ì²¹±ôÄå, who was married by ³§³Ü»å²¹°ùÅ›²¹²Ô²¹, son of Dhruvasandhi. (For details see under Åš²¹Å›¾±°ì²¹±ôÄå).
Other information.
(i) Though he had never been defeated till then in battle, µþ³óÄ«³¾²¹²õ±ð²Ô²¹, in the course of his triumphal tour of the east defeated him. (³§²¹²ú³óÄå Parva, Chapter 20, Verse 6).
(ii) He was present at the wedding of ¶Ù°ù²¹³Ü±è²¹»åÄ« in the company of his son ³§³Ü°ì³Ü³¾Äå°ù²¹. In this context he is referred to as Sucitra as well. (Ä€di Parva, Chapter 185, Verse 10).
