A King called Kuru was born in Dhruva’s dynasty.
Genealogy.
Descended from վṣṇ thus: �Svāyambhuva Manu�ٳԲ岹‼ܱ�Śṣṭ�Ripu�ṣuṣa (ṣuṣa Manu)—Kܰ.
King Kuru was the grandfather of the reputed Vena and the great grandfather of emperor ṛt. ṅg was the father of Vena. Not much is said about this Kuru in the ʳܰṇa. Kuru had ten brothers called Puru, Ūru, ŚٲܳԲ, ղ貹ī, ٲⲹ, Śܳ, Agniṣṭhu, Adhiratha, Sudyumna and Abhimanyu. Kuru had by his wife Ātreyī seven sons called ṅg, Sumanas پ, Kratu, ṅg, Gaya and Ś, and to ṅg was born by his wife ܲīٳ the son, who became reputed as Vena. ṛt was Vena’s son. ṛt had five sons called ԳٲԲ, ī, ūٲ, 岵, ٲ. To ԳٲԲ was born of his wife Śṇḍī a son called ᲹԲ, to whom were born by his wife ٳṣaṇ� six sons called ʰ峦īԲ, Śܰ, Gaya, ṛṣṇa, Vṛaja and Ajina.
