The 狈腻驳补谤补-办丑补峁囜笉补 describes the sacredness and glory of 贬腻峁璦办别艣惫补谤补-办峁迟谤补, the area around Vadnagar (Ahmedabad Dist., Gujarat). It is called by various names out of which 颁补尘补迟办腻谤补辫耻谤补 is more common. Dr. R.N. Mehta, former head of the Dept. of Archaeology, M.S. University Baroda, informs me that human habitation in that area dates back to the 1st century B.C.E. His article: 鈥淰adnagara: A Study鈥� in Journal of the M.S. University, Baroda, Vol. XVII, April 1918, throws some light on some incidents in this 笔耻谤腻峁嘺.
