Book 6 - ±·Äå²µ²¹°ù²¹-°ì³ó²¹á¹‡á¸²¹
- Sub-Contents: (+ / -)
The ±·Äå²µ²¹°ù²¹°ì³ó²¹á¹‡á¸²¹ (±·Äå²µ²¹°ù²¹-°ì³ó²¹á¹‡á¸²¹) has 1 section and a total of 279 chapters.
The ±·Äå²µ²¹°ù²¹-°ì³ó²¹á¹‡á¸²¹ describes the sacredness and glory of ±áÄåá¹a°ì±ðÅ›±¹²¹°ù²¹-°ìá¹£e³Ù°ù²¹, the area around Vadnagar (Ahmedabad Dist., Gujarat). It is called by various names out of which °ä²¹³¾²¹³Ù°ìÄå°ù²¹±è³Ü°ù²¹ is more common. Dr. R.N. Mehta, former head of the Dept. of Archaeology, M.S. University Baroda, informs me that human habitation in that area dates back to the 1st century B.C.E. His article: “Vadnagara: A Studyâ€ in Journal of the M.S. University, Baroda, Vol. XVII, April 1918, throws some light on some incidents in this ±Ê³Ü°ùÄåṇa.
