Part 16 - Treatment for diarrhea (7): Naga-sundara rasa
Two tolas each of lead, mercury, mica, and sulphur are to be rubbed together and reduced to a very fine powder. Eight tolas of resin are to be melted and mixed with the powder, which is again to be mixed with one tola in weight of the powder of each of the following:鈥攂ark of banian, bibhitaki, rock-salt, bacha, trikatu, jira, black jira, haritaki, bhanga, and jamani. The compound is then to be subjected to bhavana for three times each with the juices of the following:鈥攂ark of mahanimba, roots of gunja, nagabala, and guruchi. Pills are then to be made, two raktis in weight each. This medicine cures all sorts of diarrhoea, dislocation of the rectum, and dysentery.
