Treatment for fever (96): Kasturi-bhairava-rasa
Equal quantities of musk, incinerated mercury, copper, dhataki flower, banari seeds, silver, gold, pearls, coral, iron, patha, brianga (?), musta, shunthi, bala, orpiment, mica, and amalaki, are to be rubbed together with the juice of arka leaves and made into pills, one rakti in weight each, to be taken with ginger juice. It cures all sorts of fevers, diarrhoea, both acute and chronic, cough, spermatorrhoea, and jaundice.
