मणिं हर्तुं स्वय� हरिः
युद्धं कृत्वाष्�-विंशाह�
अजयद� र्क्�-नायकम्

rkṣa-Ჹ-bila� gatvā
maṇi� hartu� svaya� 󲹰�
yuddha� kṛtvāṣṭa-viṃśāha�
ajayad rkṣa-nāyakam

ṣa�of the rksas; of the king; to the cave; ٱ�going; ṇi�the jewel; 󲹰ٳܳ�to take; ⲹ�personally; 󲹰�Lord ṛṣṇa; ܻ󲹳�fight; ṛt�doing; ṣṭ-ṃśatwenty-eight; 󲹳�days; Ჹⲹ�defeated; ṣa-ⲹ첹�the king of the rksas.

English translation of verse 6.8.8:

Entering 's cave to recover the jewel, for 28 days Lord ṛṣṇa fought with 峾, the king of the ṛkṣa.
