1. Then the Adhvaryu should say, 鈥淔or 辫颈迟峁沵补苍迟 Soma anu 蝉惫补诲丑腻.鈥�
2. He should spread clarified butter as base into the 闯耻丑奴 (and take cuttings) from all the oblations for each principal offering, and also for the 厂惫颈峁ａ弓补办峁泃 offering. The 贬辞迟峁� should recite for each offering two 辫耻谤辞苍耻惫腻办测腻蝉 joining the 辫谤补峁嘺惫补 to each of them.
3. For a sacrificer offering an oblation of five portions, the Adhvaryu should take up six portions,[1] for one offering an oblation of four portions, he should take up five portions.[2]
4. In the case of six portions he should take two portions of the chief principal oblation.
5. After having taken (two) portions of the cake, he should take one portion of the 诲丑腻苍腻蝉.
6. Similarly (one portion) of the meal.
7. He should pour out clarified butter on the oblation, cross the altar (towards the north), and cause the 膧驳苍墨诲丑谤补 to announce with the words, 膩 蝉惫补诲丑腻. The 膧驳苍墨诲丑谤补 should announce with the words,鈥欌�楲et there be 蝉惫补诲丑腻.鈥�
8. The Adhvaryu should say (to the 贬辞迟峁�), 鈥淭o 辫颈迟峁沵补苍迟 Soma 蝉惫补诲丑腻.鈥�
9. The 腻驳耻谤 (to be uttered by the 贬辞迟峁�) should be, ye 蝉惫补诲丑腻mahe.
10. The 贬辞迟峁� should make the 惫补峁峁�-utterance with 蝉惫补诲丑腻 苍补尘补岣�.
11. Then the Adhvaryu should say (to the 贬辞迟峁�), 鈥淔or 产补谤丑颈峁诲 笔颈迟峁泂 anu 蝉惫补诲丑腻.鈥�
12. Having spread out clarified butter as base into the 闯耻丑奴, he should take two portions of the 诲丑腻苍腻蝉, and then one of the meal.
13. Similarly (one portion) of the cake.
14. After having poured out clarified butter on the oblation, he should cross the altar towards the north, and cause the 膧驳苍墨诲丑谤补 to announce with the words, 膩 蝉惫补诲丑腻. The 膧驳苍墨诲丑谤补 should announce with the words, 鈥淟et there be 蝉惫补诲丑腻.鈥�
15. The Adhvaryu should say (to the 贬辞迟峁�), 鈥淭o 产补谤丑颈峁诲 笔颈迟峁泂 蝉惫补诲丑腻.鈥�
