Vajra岣嵞乲a) is a scripture belonging to the Buddhist Cakrasa峁僾ara (or Sa峁僾ara) scriptural cycle, and is thought to have been compiled in the eastern area of the Indian subcontinent around the tenth century. The 12th chapter is a sadhana (蝉腻诲丑补苍补 or 鈥減erfect realization鈥�) of Vajra岣嵞乲a (vajra岣嵞乲asya蝉腻诲丑补苍补). More precisely, it is a manual of meditation to visualize a mandala (尘补峁囜笉补濒补) consisting of the supreme deity named Vajra岣嵞乲a and his retainer deities.
Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha鈥檚 words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources.
